Turn sport fans into supporters

• Free. No setup fees, no commission, no platform cut.
• Direct donations. Supporters donate to you on your own website or JustGiving / Enthuse / CAF page — RivalRaise simply links to it.
• New audience. Fans choose your charity when they pick a team or rivalry, exposing your cause to people who might not otherwise hear of you.
• Recurring engagement. Every fixture is a fresh nudge to give.
• Branded profile. Logo, description and donation link — yours to update.

Any UK-registered charity is eligible. Charities are added in three ways:

• Nominated by a supporter using our charity search (powered by the Charity Commission register).
• Submitted manually by a supporter when not yet on the register.
• Onboarded directly by the RivalRaise team — get in touch via our contact form.

We prioritise charities that are registered with the Charity Commission for England & Wales, OSCR (Scotland), or CCNI (Northern Ireland).

New charities are marked Pending verification until our team has confirmed:

• The charity number matches an active record on the public charity register.
• The website / donation link is genuinely operated by the charity.
• No reasonable suggestion that the listing is misleading or duplicates an existing one.

Verification is normally completed within a few working days. Verified charities display a Verified badge alongside their name.

If your charity is already listed, anyone authorised by the charity can claim it:

1. Find your charity using search on the homepage.
2. Open the profile and click Claim this charity.
3. Provide your name, role, contact email and a short note for verification.
4. Our team reviews and grants you owner access, normally within a few working days.

Once claimed, you can update the description, logo, website and donation link yourself.

Each charity profile shows a primary Donate button that points to a URL you control — typically your own website donation page, JustGiving, Enthuse, CAF Donate, Stewardship or similar. RivalRaise does not host a payment page; supporters land straight on your trusted donation flow so Gift Aid and receipts are handled by you.

Pledges in a user's "charity pot" are a personal commitment to give based on real sports results. When a user marks a pledge as donated, they submit a donation request with the amount, date and reference. From time to time the RivalRaise team may contact your charity to confirm a sample of donations have been received — this protects the integrity of the platform but is light-touch and never involves sharing donor data without consent.

1. A supporter picks a team or rivalry and chooses your charity.
2. They set a per-event pledge (e.g. £1 per goal, £5 per win).
3. As real results come in, their charity pot updates automatically.
4. When they're ready, they make the donation directly to your charity — either via the donation link provided on your profile, or by another method such as BACS, cheque, standing order or voucher.
5. They confirm the donation in their dashboard for their personal records, and the RivalRaise team verifies it with the charity before it is approved.
